Since the founding of Axel Larsson, our employees have been our most important resource. It is through them that we create value, and their well-being is crucial to our success. We strongly believe that a sustainable business is not only about minimizing environmental impact, but also about nurturing and developing the social aspects of our company – creating a workplace where everyone feels respected, engaged, and cared for.
To clarify our shared values and ensure that all employees feel involved in our work, we chose to define the values that matter most to us: REKO – Respect, Commitment, Quality, and Care.
To ensure these values truly reflected our collective views and feelings, a series of group work sessions and workshops were held in 2023. Employees from different departments reflected together on what the values mean to us and how we can live by them in our daily work. The work resulted in a shared understanding and a stronger commitment to creating a work environment where everyone feels appreciated and seen.
For us, REKO is a dynamic concept, constantly evolving to meet new needs and challenges. As support for our daily work, we developed an internal guide based on the insights from the group work in 2023, and it is updated regularly to reflect new circumstances and changes. The guide describes what REKO stands for and how we practically live by these values. REKO serves as our compass – a constant reminder of how we treat each other and the importance of respect and care in everything we do.
