Plastic fittings
JACO offers high-quality plastic fittings suitable for tubing and pipes made of plastic, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, and glass. These plastic fittings are available in versions suitable for most media and offer high resistance to corrosion and chemicals.
- Excellent electrical insulation properties that eliminate electrolytic effects
- Absorb mechanical and acoustic vibrations due to the low density and elasticity of the plastic
- Naturally low flow resistance thanks to smooth internal surfaces
- Resistant to deposits
Main Types
Type O – Standard fitting with plastic ferrule integrated in the nut, max 3.5 bar
Type PG – Fitting with plastic ferrule, max 15 bar
Type SG – Fitting with stainless steel ferrule, max 15 bar
Material Properties
Polypropylene (P) – Good chemical resistance. Temperature range: -35°C to +100°C. Unaffected by most weak acids and alkalis. Good resistance to organic solvents below +80°C. Not recommended for oxidizers, strong acids, or constant sunlight exposure.
Nylon (N) – Excellent resistance to organic solvents, oils, and gasoline. Max temperature: +105°C. Highly resistant to vibration. Not recommended for ammonia, boric acid, calcium, sulfuric, or hydrochloric acids.
PVDF (K) – Unmatched resistance to highly corrosive acids. Max temperature: +135°C.
Acetal (C) – High tensile strength and good wear resistance. Temperature range: -40°C to +128°C.
