• Long service life and very reliable both in terms of operatio and personal safety
• High resistance to chemicals and abrasion
• Increased chemical resistance and UV-resistance
• Extremely mechanically resistant
• Metal valves can be replaced by thermoplastic valves at the appropriate pressure and temperature
• Resists the most severe corrosion
• Some metals (eg Hastelloy) can withstand chemical and mechanical influences, but at a price 10 times higher than GRPP
• PVDF is 100 times more durable than PTFE-lined metal valves
• Metal valves have at least 5 times more weight than thermoplastic valves
