The advantages of thermoplastic valves are numerous in the right application, they are reliable for operational and personal safety, are extremely mechanically resistant and have a long service life. Their main characteristics include:
- High resistance to chemicals and abrasion
- Resists severe corrosion
There are metals made of special alloys that can withstand chemical and mechanical influences, but are usually offered at a much higher price than thermoplastics such as PPGF and PVDF. Contrary to popular belief, thermoplastic valves offer higher abrasion resistance than metal valves in chemical applications.
