NACE

NACE International, formerly the National Association of Corrosion Engineers, develops standards and certifications for corrosion prevention and control. NACE provides and publishes standards such as MR0175 and MR0103.

These standards offer guidance on selecting corrosion-resistant alloys and materials to prevent sulfide stress cracking (SSC) in H2S environments. The guidelines are based on laboratory data and field experience, evaluating the cracking resistance of metallic materials in sour gas (H2S) environments.
